We at Silvergreens want to welcome you all back for another great quarter at U.C.S.B. While everyone was relaxing and taking it easy for winter break Silvergreens has been working hard renovating the Isla Vista location. We just finished our new and improved store and it is unbelievable!!! We remodeled from top to bottom starting with our new lounge, sitting area, fixtures, and people friendly atmosphere.
We worked hard to make Silvergreens Isla Vista feel like a home away from home. Students, staff and friends can come to Silvergreens and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere to hang out and study. Since our Isla Vista demographic is extremely important to us we wanted everyone that comes in to our store to feel comfortable. We are so proud of the outcome of our store and hope to see you soon. Lights, Camera, Action! Silvergreens attended the “Opening Night Gala” for the 27th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival at the Paseo Nuevo Courtyard. From the amazing decorations to the perfect weather Silvergreens had a spectacular time. We introduced our brand new cookies the Brookie (brownies & cookies come together in one delicious treat), the Oatmeal Cranberry (a hearty and healthier option with 1/3 less calories) and our signature chocolate chip cookie (our Signature cookie). We baked about 800 cookies total and were completely empty by the end of the night. Judging by the crumbs left on our trays we know that everyone enjoyed our yummy deserts. They were definitely a huge “hit” with the crowd. A special thank you to Ron, Lenka, Josh, Martin and the Silvergreens Team for all their hard work preparing for this event. We are now serving all 3 of our new cookies at both location (s). Please come in and taste our cookies I guarantee you will be coming back for seconds! Also thank you to Santa Barbara Film Festival for inviting us to an unforgettable event!
Fun, free food and free tanks? That’s right Silvergreen’s recently participated again in REC sport’s Winter Taste Days at UCSB. We were so excited to have attended the event and appreciate all the support of our local UCSB gauchos. Taste Day events are a lot of fun for the Silvergreen’s staff because we get to physically establish long lasting relationships with our customers. This Taste Day was also very special because we were able to introduce 2 new cookies to our menu. We added new healthy and incredibly tasty Brookie & Oatmeal cranberry cookies. Don’t fear! We still have our classic delicious chocolate chip signature cookie. We are now serving all 3 cookies at both our location(s). We would like to thank UCSB REC sports for inviting us to a wonderful event. We can’t wait to see you guys next quarter!

We are happy to announce that last month Silvergreens attended Spectrums Downtown open house. We had a great response from members and staff at the club. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the open house. Spectrum members were informed about our NEW tasty and healthy breakfast sandwiches that we are currently promoting. They were also informed that all Spectrum members will receive 10% off when dining with Silvergreens. We have developed a fantastic relationship with Spectrum and are thrilled to be associated with such an exceptional club. We know that we will see more Spectrum members and their friends at Silvergreens to eat a healthy meal. Silvergreens has had a long history with Halloween going way back to it’s roots in IV. This Halloween we have extended hours in Isla Vista as well as a first-ever “Halloween Candy Trade-In” at the Downtown location.

In our ongoing support Silvergreens also showed up to support our local UCSB gauchos at the soccer game. Many students attended and received free breakfast sandwiches upon arrival to the game. Students were very excited and enthusiastic about receiving our coupons. Overall the game was a lot of fun and we hope that students come in and redeem their free breakfast sandwich.
